Josephine Warden
Josephine Eliza Warden, who resided in Paris, died Saturday, April 24, 2021, in Paris. She was born July 29, 1927 in Havana, Arkansas, to the late Walter Owens and Etta (Mills) Owens. She was 93 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Warden, one son, Lowell McDonald and two daughters Janet and Terry.
Josephine was a homemaker and a Baptist.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Paris, with Rev. Shawna Clayton officiating. Burial will be at McVay Cemetery in Logan County, Arkansas under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home of Paris.
She is survived by one son, Joebill Nunn; five daughters, Emma Terry, Mona Wimberly, Paula King and husband Thomas, Charlotte Malarkey, and Helen Harbour and husband Wesley; step-children, Dannette Reed and husband Bob, Joyce Sherwood, Mark Duvall and wife Linda, Elisa Adair and husband Charley and Lori Kimes and husband Danny, twenty-one grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Jaeson McClure, Shawan McClure, Andrew Thompson, Nathan Mata, Ramon McDonald, and Beau Shott.
Visitation will be from 6 – 8 p.m. on Monday, April 26, 2021 at the funeral home.
