Joshua Peter Beck

Joshua Peter Beck, of Wild Creek Drive, Jim Thorpe, Penn Forest Twp., Carbon County, PA, died suddenly Saturday evening in Penn Forest Twp., as a result of an ATV accident. Born in Pomona, Atlantic County, NJ, he was the son of Charles, Jr. and Dorothy (Burns) Beck of Sicklerville, NJ, and Stephen Jr. and Angela Johnson of Delaware.
Joshua was raised in Sicklerville, NJ, and was a member of the New Brooklyn United Methodist Church family. He loved his family and country. He loved being known as the "cool uncle". Josh was a friend to everyone he met. He always had a smile on his face, and his laughter was infectious, especially when he was joking around. Josh loved to cook and barbecue, and wasn't afraid to try any new recipe.
He was employed as a service attendant for the Sunoco Gasoline Station, Penn Forest Twp., but in his spare time, he loved hanging out with friends or playing paintball.
Joshua will be greatly missed here, but because of his belief in Jesus Christ, he is alive in Heaven.
Survivors: Parents. Maternal grandfather, Donald H. Burns of Hainesport, NJ. Sisters, Alisia wife of Perry Bascou, Emily Beck, Shanise Beck, Katie Beck, twin sister, Serena Beck, and EllaRose Beck. Brothers, James and wife Vicki Beck with whom he resided, Raymond Beck, Dakota Beck, Isaiah Beck, Jesse Beck, Shamar Beck, and Zebediah Beck. Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by sister, Gianna Beck.
Services: Public Memorial Visitation, 5:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, September 6, 2024, Miller Funeral Home, 137 Fairview Street, Lehighton, PA 18235. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 29, 2024, New Brooklyn United Methodist Church, 1336 East Malaga Road, Williamstown, NJ 08094.
