Joshua Bobbitt Obituary
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at 11:00 AM by Rev. Will Breedlove at Rehoboth United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Ashley B. Ward (Michael) of Henderson; a brother, Johnny S. Bobbitt, Jr. of New Jersey; his paternal grandmother, Betty Grissom Bobbitt of Henderson; a niece, Riley Ward; a nephew, Mason Ward; and his girlfriend, Ashley Emory.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Doris F. Ward and Donald Ward; his paternal grandfather, Thomas Bobbitt; his aunt, Susan Taylor; his uncle, Tommy Bobbitt; and his loyal German Shephard, "Jax."
The family will receive friends at the home of his parents, 2050 Old Watkins Road, Henderson, NC 27537.
In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to Ruin Creek Animal Protection Society, (RCAPS) 165 US HWY 158 Bypass, Henderson, NC 27537 (online: https://rcaps.org/donate/) or the Vance County Animal Shelter, 1243 Brodie Road, Henderson, NC 27536.
