Joshua Alonzo Farley, affectionately known as the "Golden Boy" in his family, was born on July 30, 1980, in Columbus, Ohio. He sadly passed away on January 25, 2024, in the same city he called home throughout his life.

Joshua will be remembered by all who knew him for being a strong protector and provider for his family. His infectious sense of humor and love for jokes made him a joy to be around. Joshua had a unique talent for fixing anything that crossed his path, showcasing his resourcefulness and passion. Despite his competitive spirit, he always approached challenges in a positive light, leaving a lasting impact on those around him. Joshua enjoyed listening to stories and was always interested in knowing every detail. He never judged others, but was not afraid to tell his own opinion. Joshua looked up to and respected Harold, Ruth, Tony, and Brenda.

He leaves behind a legacy that will be cherished by many. Joshua is survived by his adoring son, Isaiah. Isaiah was his world and meant everything to him. Also grieving his loss are his siblings: Mary, Christian, Samantha, Ronald Jr., Sam Jr., along with his nieces Sheila, Elianna, Kianna, great-niece Laylay, nephews Ray, Willie, Elijah, and great-nephew Danan. Joshua would want his nephews to know to keep their heads up, make him proud, and to also take care of their mother. Joshua is also mourned by Nicole, his fiancée (he loved her very much), and Will, a dear friend. He is proceeded in death by his parents Ronald and Sheila.

The memory of Joshua Alonzo Farley will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. A visitation in honor of Joshua will take place at the Shaw-Davis Short North Chapel in Columbus on Thursday, February 22nd starting at 11:00 am followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 pm. A graveside service will follow at Obetz Cemetery.

May he rest in peace knowing that he was cherished and loved by many.
