He was born in Honolulu, HI and was a member of the Ainaola Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Friends may call at the Hilo Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Saturday, December 20, 2025 from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM, where a Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM. Hegwood of Hilo, HI and Jesse Earl Hegwood, Jr. of Hilo, HI; Sister, Kristian (David) Comer of Hilo, HI, Michelle Garlock and Charity Caracol; Nieces, Kyla Neuman, Cecilia Garlock, and Taliya Hegwood; Nephews, Isaiah Hegwood Tristen Hegwood; Grand nephews, Kainoa, and Lokahi.
