Joshua Aaron Hickman, 44, passed away on May 5, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. Born on December 1, 1980, in Newport News, Virginia, Joshua brought warmth and laughter to those around him throughout his life.

Joshua was the beloved son of Debra Blackburn and Wayne Hickman, and stepson of Tricia Hickman. He shared a close bond with his siblings: Christopher Hickman, Jennifer Hickman, Andrew Uresti, and Malyssa Hickman. He was a devoted father to Matthew Morin, Alexus Pantoja, Kirsten Hickman, and Gavin Hickman. His legacy continues through numerous nieces and nephews and grandchildren who brought him great joy.

Known for his kind heart and generous spirit, Joshua was always ready to lend a helping hand. His sense of humor lit up every room he entered-he loved joking around and making others smile. Whether offering support or sharing a laugh, he left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Joshua had a passion for working on cars and could often be found tinkering with RC power cars in his spare time. A true enthusiast of speed and precision, he also enjoyed watching NASCAR races. Sports played a big role in his life; he was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers and never missed a chance to cheer on the San Antonio Spurs.

Joshua's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to those who loved him and strength in the days ahead. A Viewing will be held on May 12, 2025, from 04:00 PM to 08:00 PM at Grace Countryside Funeral Home 479 S loop 1604 W. if you would like to send flowers please send them after 12:00 on Monday.
