It is with great sadness that we announce Joshua James Clayton Fletcher passed away on August 10, 2025, in Centralia, Washington. Joshua always filled the lives of those he loved with excitement and laughs, and he will be dearly missed by friends and family alike. A service will be held in his honor on September 14, 2025, starting at 11:00 AM at the Chehalis Trible Community Center located on 461 Secena Rd Oakville, Washington, 98568.
Joshua was born on September 9, 1981, in Fort Sill. Oklahoma, to his parents Catherine Grace Allman (Drake) and David Clayton Fletcher. He would spend his youth in Fort Polk, Louisianna before living for a year in Kitzingen, Germany, and eventually moving to Rochester, Washington, where he attended Rochester Highschool. Continuing his education, he would study Information Technology in Las Vegas, Nevada and return home to Rochester. Joshua worked in the Commercial Janitorial industry for a while until he moved on and started a career in the landscaping industry.
For his whole life Joshua made every day a fun and exciting one. He played all kinds of sports in his youth and went on to collect sports cards into his adulthood. A very creative soul, Joshua also enjoyed painting, drawing, and both creating and appreciating artwork of all kinds as well as tinkering and modifying electronics.
At family gatherings Joshua loved playing poker with everyone and was always down to shoot pool with his friends. He always had a sarcastic streak, but teasing you was how he showed he cared. Joshua was always ready for a new adventure, especially if the people he loved were along for the ride.
Joshua will be dearly missed by his significant other Shannon Elder; his son James Clayton Roff; his mother Catherine Allman; his stepfather Timothy Allman; his father and step mother David Fletcher and Nancy Fletcher; his sisters Letrisha Ugelstad, Danielle Berg, Nicole Ridley, and Cora Fletcher; his grandparents Aubrey and Lela Smith, and Dollene Fletcher; as well as his grandchild, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandfather Roger Fletcher; his uncle Donald Fletcher; and his great grandparents Clayton and Wilma Fletcher.
Joshua brought enthusiasm and joy to the lives of so many, he will forever be remembered for the happiness he shared with people he loved.
