Mr. Joshua Alexander Landis, age 25, of Collinsville, MS passed away Friday, February 2, 2024.
Josh, a devoted husband and friend, was married to the love of his life for a year and half. He was a member of Jubilee Mennonite Church. His passion for missions led him to dedicate his time to rebuilding houses in Puerto Rico. He cherished his experiences at Pine Lake Fellowship camp, where he found joy in working, playing disc golf, and connecting with God. Josh's deep appreciation for nature allowed him to feel a connection with his creator while spending time outdoors. He served in the US Navy, stationed in Norfolk, VA. Josh had a remarkable ability to bring joy to those around him.
He is survived by his wife, Megan Landis, his parents, Jeffrey and Cheryl Landis, his sister, Katya Landis, his brother, Matt Landis, his niece, Teagan, his paternal grandmother, Mary K. Landis, his maternal grandparents, Arlin and Sandra Freed, his paternal great grandparents, Elvin and Dorothy Landis, his father and mother-in-law, Joey and Cristy Moffett, sister-in-law, Haleigh Dixon (Ben), and his nephews; Luke and Jake.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather John David Landis.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made to Pine Lake Fellowship Camp, 10371 Pine Lake Road, Meridian, MS 39307. www.pinelakecamp.com/memorial.
