Joshua Shane "Josh" Liedel

Joshua "Josh" Shane Liedel, age 37 of Ringgold, Georgia was welcomed into the gates of Heaven by his Savior Jesus Christ and his daughter Hadlei on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. Josh loved being outdoors and lived life fearlessly and to the fullest. While growing up he enjoyed playing baseball, riding 4-wheelers and racing motorcross, which would later grow into a passion for riding motorcycles. Also, while outside he enjoyed bow hunting and fishing. Throughout his life, he would often travel to Oak Island, North Carolina for vacation before ultimately moving there for a couple of years. Living in Oak Island was his dream as he felt most at home near the saltwater. Josh loved being in his happy place, relaxing on the beach or fishing from the boat with his family. He was a jack of all trades and a skilled worker with his hands whether it be welding, mechanical work or artistry. Above all, Josh was an amazing father to his daughters and had a huge heart for all children and anyone in need. Most recently Josh made the choice to accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and will now spend all of eternity in his presence.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Hadlei Liedel; father, Joe Liedel; grandmother Doris "Nana" Kittle; grandfather Leonard Joseph Liedel.
Josh is survived by his daughters, Taylei, Emberlei, and Oaklei Liedel, their mother, Shanna Coffman; his mother, Sherri Liedel; sister, Tasha Liedel (D.J. Hyatt) and their children Karlei and Hunter Hyatt; grandmother, Phyllis "Grandma" Liedel, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family will have a celebration of life on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home with a service to follow. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 9, 2025, with Pastor Marty Green officiating in the Wilson Funeral Homes Wallis ~ Stewart Chapel.
