Mr. Luviano was born on May 7, 2002, in
Lufkin, Texas, to Miguel Luviano and Mireya (Daniel) Luviano, and died Sunday, May 11, 2025, in Lufkin.
Josh loved his family and friends with all his heart and loved to spend quality time with them, including birthdays and holiday gatherings with all His favorite people. He made sure he stayed in communication with everyone no matter the distance. He was down to earth, loving, humble, sweet, and had a witty personality. He was always the center of attention, and making people laugh and smile was one of his many traits. He was hardworking and loved being active outdoors such as working out, playing soccer, volleyball, football, swimming, running, tennis, and much more. Josh had many favorite foods, but one thing we all agree on is he loved him some steak. He loved everyone's cooking and never shied away from trying anything new, especially mother-in-law's black beans.
His favorite foods consisted of his tita's carrot cake, his grandpas carnitas, tita's mango con Chile, mother in law's salsa, his tio's brisket, and of course his dad's tacos. We felt he was never going to just eat what was on his plate because he was always looking around at everyone's plate to see what he was going to take off it. Josh loved to drive around town and listen to his music and going on trips with his wife, making memories and capturing every moment so that he can tell everyone about it when he came home. Josh was very outgoing and would talk to just about anyone about anything. If there was one thing that we can say about Josh, it is that he was the light of our family with his glowing personality and his beautiful smile. He was also very protective of his wife and family and would go above and beyond for them, especially his titas and his titos, which he loved very much. He enjoyed visiting with them and making sure that they were well taken care of. His favorite Bible scripture he loved to say before ending his day was Psalm 4:8 "I will both lay me down in peace and sleep for thou Lord, only makes me dwell in safety." We know that he laid in peace on May 11th. He will live forever in our hearts and we will cherish every memory of him. We love you Josh, and we will honor your memory.
