Graveside Service for Joshua Davin Mefford, 19, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at Brushy Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on September 1, 2006 in Poteau, Oklahoma to Courtney Dawn Mefford and Tyler Wilson Hediger and passed away on September 26, 2025 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Joshua loved baseball, music, fishing, his baby brother and sister, and animals.

Survivors are mother, Courtney Mefford of Sallisaw, OK; father, Tyler Hediger of Gore, OK; sister, Oaklynn Mefford of Sallisaw, OK; brother, Berkley Grant of Sallisaw, OK; nanny, Dawna Mefford of Sallisaw, OK; papa and nana, Bryon Mefford and Pam of Brushy, OK; grandpa and grandma, Jack Hediger and Pam of Glenpool, OK; great-grandmother, Rosa Carter of Gore, OK; god-grandmother, Kim Taylor of Sallisaw, OK; aunt, Raven Mattingly and Todd of Sallisaw, OK; three uncles, Ryon Mefford and Bobbie Kaye of Brushy, OK, Thomas Mefford of Brushy, OK, and Weston Mefford of Brushy, OK; special aunt, Hollie Place of Sallisaw, OK; girlfriend, Annabella Monday; and numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Don and Dyhana Mowdy, Lester and Joy Mefford, and Charles Carter.

Active Pallbearers will be Ryon Mefford, Bailey Mattingly, Thomas Mefford, Weston Mefford, Broque Oft, and Aisen Brown.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Kado Mattingly, Berkley Grant, and Todd Mattingly.

Viewing will be 2 - 8 PM Tuesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw where the family will greet 6 - 8 PM.
