Salt Lake City, Utah –

Joshua Jeremiah Ortega, 42, passed away and returned home to our Heavenly Father on May 10,
2022. He was born June 22, 1979 in Farmington, New Mexico, son of Raymond Joe Ortega and
Leticia Moreno Ortega. Josh was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He
enjoyed camping, fishing, being with family, friends, he loved cooking and always made sure
there was enough for everyone. He was the best cook ever!! Josh, wore his heart on his sleeve,
his goal was to make people laugh and leave them happier than he found them.

He is survived by his children, Joshua Angel Ortega, son of Crystal Jimenez, Joseph Cristian
Ortega, Precious Xochitl Leticia Ortega, son and daughter of Jennifer Hope Vigil. Also by his
siblings, brother Jose Antonio Ortega, father of Ashialina Andrea Ortega, Sophia Donna Ortega
sister Elisa Marie Ortega, mother of Rafael Ernesto Ortega, Franciso Felipe Ortega, Urijah
Raymond Trujillo, sister Yolanda Stella Ortega, mother of Enrique Antonio Ortega, Miklo Jesse
Lovato, Azinnia Rose Ray. And many more close family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Leticia Ortega; grandmother (father),
Estella Jeminez Ortega Archuleta, grandfather (mother) Felix Gutierrez and grandmother Elisa
Moreno, and many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

Josh, we love you and will miss you always. Cherish all of our memories forever in our hearts.
Until we meet again, we'll be missing you.

A viewing will take place Wednesday, May 25, 2022 from 6 PM – 8 PM at 464 Germania Ave, Murray, Utah.
