Joshua Wade Sampson

Joshua Wade Sampson, of Harriman, TN, passed away on December 10, 2025.

He was born on July 22, 1976, in Oak Ridge, TN.

Josh will be remembered for his sense of humor, his big heart, and his talent for turning strangers into friends. He loved deer hunting, fishing, and anything that let him be outside. If you met Josh, you never forgot him - or his big blue eyes. He leaves behind many friends and family members who will miss him deeply.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Zanna Howard; his father, Bruce Seiber; his stepfather, Buddy Howard; his grandmother, Grace Parton; and his uncles, Danny Sampson and Michael Sampson.

Josh is survived by his daughters, McKenna Sampson and Kelsi Patterson; his siblings, Yulaunda Kiser (Scott), along with her children Donovan, William, Logan, Katelyn, and Ian; Joseph Seiber; Amanda Seiber; Amy Seiber; Aaron Hickman; and Bryan Howard. He is also survived by his fiancée, Emily Cox; his special friend, James Toomey; and his hunting buddies, Stanley Wheeler, Donovan Kiser, and Steve Clark.

A very special place in Josh's heart belonged to his Aunt Kathy Sampson. She wasn't just his aunt-she was his rock and someone he loved like a mother.

A service to honor Josh's life will be held at a later date. The family is grateful for the outpouring of love and support and asks everyone to keep sharing the stories, the laughter, and the memories.
