Joshua Craig Saxton

Joshua Craig Saxton of Camden passed away, Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at home. He was 37 years old.
Joshua was born November 16, 1987 in Dover Delaware to Richard "Rusty" Saxton and the late Robin Kuhn Saxton. He attended school at Capitol School District for several years before moving to Caesar Rodney School District, from which he graduated. While attending CR he played both Soccer and Lacrosse.
Joshua worked as a Paraprofessional with students with special needs at the John S. Charlton School and the Kent County Community School. He also worked at Sussex Tech High School and at L&D Suzuki in the parts and sales department. Joshua was very artistic. He manufactured home made knives and enjoyed doing decorative lettering. In his teens, he enjoyed boogie boarding, skim boarding, surfing, and snow boarding. Joshua also loved riding motorcycles and 4 wheelers and fishing local waterways and ponds.
He is survived by his father Rusty and his wife Susan Saxton of Milton; brother, Chris Saxton, Sr. and his wife Jena of Camden; sister Savannah Mylott of Huntsville, AL; nephew, Christopher Saxton, Jr., his beloved dog Ares, as well as his grandmother Helen Kuhn, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorial services will be held privately at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Delaware Special Olympics.
