Joshua Simonds Obituary
Died: February 28, 2026
Joshua Lafe Simonds, age 49, from Englewood, TN, passed away peacefully after a short illness on February 28, 2026.
He was a graduate of McMinn Central High School and discovered his lifelong love of basketball as a player for Central.
Josh was loved and he will be very missed by those who knew him.
Survivors, brother & sister-in-law, Eric & Fiona Simonds, Josh is also grieved by many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
Preceded in death by parents, Marion and Brenda Simonds.
The family will be celebrating his memory at a private gathering.
As requested, in lieu of flowers, donations/memorials may be given to the Welcome Home of Chattanooga, 3131 Quiet Creek Trail, Chattanooga, TN 37406.
Arrangements by Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.
