Joshua Solis, affectionately known as Josh, was born on July 4, 1987, in Corpus Christi, Texas. He passed away in Mathis, Texas, on December 27, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and generosity.
Josh was well-known for his unwavering commitment to helping others. His genuine spirit and selfless nature endeared him to those around him. He thrived on the joy of making a difference in people's lives, reflecting the love and compassion he carried in his heart.
An avid fisherman, Josh found solace in the tranquility of the water. Fishing was not just a hobby for him; it was a cherished pastime that allowed him to connect with nature and enjoy moments of peace and reflection.
Joshua is survived by his beloved family, including his mother, Cristela and stepfather, Jose Curiel, his daughter, Jadine Solis, and his son, Justin Solis. He also leaves behind his sister, Cristina Solis and two brothers, Jerry Solis Jr. and Jason Jesse Solis, along with his cherished nieces and nephews. He is further remembered fondly by stepchildren, Robert Flores, Deelyla Flores, and Bianca Flores.
Joshua's father, Jerado Solis, preceded him in death, creating a poignant reminder of the bonds of family that endure beyond life's journey.
Visitation will be held at 11:00 am and prayer service will be at 5:00 pm on Sunday, January 5, 2025 at Winsteads' Funeral Home in Mathis, Texas.
Josh's life was a tapestry woven with love, generosity, and a steadfast focus on the well-being of others. He will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him, as his spirit continues to inspire those left behind.
