Josiah Judah Winzy

Josiah Judah Winzy was born on December 14, 2021 in Marrero, LA to Alexis Welsh and Corey Winzy Sr. Josiah Judah Winzy was a happy, loving, and caring 3-year old. He was ultra-intelligent. He had an infatuation with dinosaurs. He had the ability to identify and pronounce the names of every dinosaur ever created. His favorite dinosaur was the tyrannosaurus rex. He also loved to dance. He would often hear a song on the phone or television and start dancing. Like most children his age, he was proficient with the cell phone and tablets. He would often take his mom's and Gam Gam's phone and navigate to his favorite shows such as Hal the Handyman, Bluey, Spiderman, and any YouTube shows involving dinosaurs. He was very outgoing and had no hesitation in interacting with other kids. His favorite foods were chicken nuggets, pizza, macaroni and cheese. He loved the family dog "Bella". He loved to ride in Gam Gam's car or Pappa's truck. Like Linus on Charlie Brown, Josiah had a favorite pillow. He could not sleep without his favorite pillow. He enjoyed going to Chuckie Cheese. Josiah had an infectious personality and loving spirit. Anyone that encountered him had no choice but to adore him. One of his favorite phrases was "It's a nice day". Josiah is survived by his mother Alexis Welsh and his father Corey Winzy, Sr.; his brothers, Corey Winzy, Jr. and Jarique Winzy; his sisters, Taylor Winzy and Journee Winzy; his niece, Dior Brown; his grandparents, Yolanda Keller Cheeks, Donald Welsh, Jr., Michael Cheeks, Elizabeth Parson,; his great grandmothers; Ava Reynolds and Adrienne Borne; his great grandfather, Malcolm Keller, Sr.; his great grandfather, Donald Welsh, Sr. (deceased); his uncle, Jared Welsh; his aunt, Penny Welsh; his great aunts, Carleen Welsh Jones and Tamara Welsh; his great uncle, Malcolm Keller Jr. and a host of great aunts and uncles. We do not know why Josiah was called home at such a young age. But what we know is God has a purpose for all of us and never makes a mistake. May the legacy of Josiah Judah Winzy live on forever.
