Josie Vidaure, age 50, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, in Dallas, Texas surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 27, 1974, in Taft, Texas, to Lupe and Lupita Vidaure.
Josie grew up in Beeville, where she developed a deep love for spending time with her family and friends. A devoted mother, grandmother, sister, homemaker, and confidante, Josie was known for her warm, generous spirit and her pleasant personality. She moved to Dallas to be closer to her daughter Anastasia, and her grandchildren, where she continued to share her love and joy with those around her.
Josie had many passions in life, including being an avid volleyball player, a traveler, celebrating life's special moments, and cherishing time spent with family and friends. Her infectious laughter and kind heart touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Because of her unwavering kindness, Josie leaves behind a lasting legacy of love and friendship.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lupita Vidaure. Josie is survived by her father, Lupe Vidaure; her daughter, Anastasia Winslow (Chanze Solis); her brothers, Lupe Vidaure, Thomas (Jeanette) Vidaure, Martin Vidaure, and Genaro (Elaine) Vidaure; her grandchildren, Ava Michelle Hernandez and Estevan Martin Hernandez Jr.; and many life-long friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024, from 5:00pm - 8:00pm with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00pm at Trevino Funeral Home in Beeville, Texas. Please consider wearing any shade of purple in honor of Josie on Saturday morning. There will be a short Visitation at St. James Catholic Church on Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 9:00am - 9:50am before the Funeral Mass. The Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 10:00am at St. James Catholic Church in Beeville, Texas, with Father Jacob Valayath officiating. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Victory Cemetery #2.
Pallbearers will be Lupe Vidaure, Thomas Vidaure, Martin Vidaure, Genaro Vidaure, Michael Winslow, and Chanze Solis.
If you would like to donate flowers, the family requests that donations be purchased from Zimmer's Floral and Nursery and delivered to Trevino Funeral Home.
Arrangements are entrusted to Trevino Funeral Home.

Josie was an awesome young woman, she had the personality that would warm anyone heart, Josie never met a stranger, I came in contact with Josie thru the Texas Department of Criminal Justice-FWI-DPO-DRC; Josie had a smile that would light up any room. My condolences are with her family, Josie, will truly be missed.
