Baby Journee Beth Dyer, of Jonesboro, departed this life on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock. She was born on July 7, 2025, at UAMS in Little Rock to her loving parents, Brianna and Matthew Dyer.
Though her time on earth was brief, Journee’s life was filled with love, and she touched the hearts of all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Erik Dyer and Sharon Rook; great-uncles, Keith Rook and Jordan Gatlin; great-grandfather, Don Gatlin; paternal great-grandparents, Edward and Beulah Steen; and great-uncle, “Shorty” Steen.
Journee is survived by her parents, Brianna and Matthew Dyer; maternal grandparents, Lance and Sherry Meadows, and Mike and Nan Gatlin; paternal grandparents, Ron and Joyce Blagg, and Sandra Dyer; maternal great-grandparents, Larry Rook and Barbara Gatlin; paternal great-grandparent, Kathy Warden; uncles, Noah Gatlin, Chase Meadows, Blake Gatlin, and Zakk Dyer; aunts, Ava Clair Gatlin, Whitney McGuire, Jennifer Whitlatch, Keionia Smith, Cindy Blagg, Daniele Gatlin, Alicia Benson, Daniele Dyer; great-uncles, Raymond Warden, Bryan Rook; as well as several cousins who loved her dearly.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, at Emerson Funeral Home beginning at 9:00 a.m., with a graveside service to follow at 10:00 a.m. at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Home for Healing in Little Rock, who lovingly supported Matthew and Brianna while Journee was in the hospital.
