Jovany Alexis Arauz, age 47 of Dallas, Texas passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2021. He was born in Leon, Nicaragua on May 5, 1974 to Coronado and Francisca Arauz. Jovany graduated from Sunset High School in Dallas. He loved watching the Cowboys play and drinking cold beer. Jovany was blessed with two daughters who are left to cherish his memories, Ana Helen Arauz and Alexa Arauz. Other survivors include his parents Coronado and Francisca Arauz; sisters, Flordeliz Arauz, Edipcia Arauz and Gretel Arauz; brothers Osman Arauz and Salvador Arauz; and numerous, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive guests from 3:00-7:00 on Thursday, October 21st at Chism Smith Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 6:00 p.m. during the visitation at Chism-Smith Funeral Home.
