Joy Korte Obituary
Charles Edwin Walker and Nellie Wylma Setzer. She is preceded in death by her son, Charles "Chuck" Watkins. She is survived by her loving husband of 41 and a half years, Paul Anthony Korte, and her children Robert Watkins, Tiffany Korte Sierra, and Anthony "Tony" Korte. She had five grandchildren, Dustyn Joel Parrish, Eric Thomas Watkins, Lukas Cade Elerson, Seth Robert Watkins, and Nelson Sierra III. She was also great-grandma to Sophie Mae Parrish and Shepherd Patrick Parrish.
Joy was truly a joy to the world, and she will be terribly missed. She loved to shop, get her hair and nails done, and go to the movies on Friday nights. She was feisty and funny, and she loved fiercely. Life will not be the same without her. Our comfort is that she is at peace and finally reunited with her son Chuck in heaven.
