Joy Lynn Monceaux

Joy Lynn Monceaux, 61 of Sulphur, LA passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2024.
She was born October 8, 1962 to the late Dorothy Ann Monceaux and Olbert Monceaux, Jr in Sulphur, LA.
Joy is best remembered for her selfless nature, she never turned her back to those in need. She was raised Catholic and enjoyed reading her Bible or singing "My Church" with her grandchildren on their trips for treats.
She enjoyed taking her children to the beach, crabbing, and fishing. She also enjoyed listening to French Music and Zydeco, often dancing the two-step. She loved spending time with her family or going to the casino with Mark.
She was preceded in death by; her parents, and a sister Patricia Roberts.
Those left to cherish her memory; children, Laurie (Lane) Sonnier, Chrystal (Jesse) Edwards, Ashly (Chad) Monceaux, and Justin (Tammy) Vincent; loving partner of twelve years, Mark Runyan; siblings, Roger Monceaux, Becky Chambers, Sharon Chesson; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Family to lead a celebration of her life at Christian Life Church of Sulphur Wednesday, July 10, 2024 beginning 9am to 11am, with burial to follow at Farquar Cemetery.
