Joy Senn

Joy Ann Yates Senn, 68, of Prosperity, passed away at her home on Thursday, November 16, 2023.

Mrs. Senn was born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to the late Carlos Harbin and Frances Joann Yates. She found work as a secretary/ word clerk for Fresenius Medical Care, where she worked for a number of years. Mrs. Senn was a member of Newberry House of God. She loved spending time and enjoying meals with her family, finding the best deals at thrift stores, and dancing. Above all else, she adored her grandchildren and great-grandchild.

Mrs. Senn is survived by her loving husband, Patterson E. Senn; sons, Justin (Chrissy) Senn and Jimmie Senn; daughter, Rebecca Senn and Mary Frances Senn (predeceased) sisters, Carla (Paul) Waller, Carol (Mark) Limestall, and Anna Hines; grandchildren, Destinee Senn, Jaden Floyd, Malachi Senn, Ziah Mayers, Nevah Clark, Kylie-Ann Senn, and Zaria Senn; great-grandchild, Maziyon Gallman; and special friends, Murry Clark, Kareem Clark, Charlotte Whitaker, Jonathan Koopman, Andrea Lathrop and Mama Susan.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Bobby Yates, Doug Harbin, and Marvin “Flip” Senn; and sisters, Mary Katherine Martin and Carolyn Ann Taylor.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm Monday, November 20, 2023, at the Newberry House of God.
