Joy Lee Snow was born December 28, 1944 near Lebanon, Missouri to Ira Lee and Ada Anna Moore Snow. He passed away Thursday, January 15, 2026 in Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. Joy was eighty-one years and eighteen days at the time of his passing.

He grew up in the Orla community and graduated from Lebanon High School. Joy grew up working on the family farm and following graduation, was employed at H.D. Lee for several years. He then worked for H.E.P., A.Y. McDonald, and the Hagle Factory in Marshfield.

On November 5, 1992 he was united in marriage to Debra Jean Ballard. They shared over thirty-three years of love and memories while raising their family.

Joy had attended Tabernacle Baptist Church in Lebanon and church in Conway.

Joy is preceded in death by his parents; his daughters, Alicia Snow and Tammy Moore; and his brother, Gary Snow.

He is survived by his loving wife, Debra; five sons, Randy Snow and his wife Angela of Camdenton, Missouri, Jimmy Snow and his wife Tanya of Lebanon, Missouri, Daniel Lee Moore and his wife Vicky of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Michael Allen and his wife Janel of Marshfield, Missouri and Shane Kyle Moore of Marshfield, Missouri; a daughter, Michelle Brown and her husband Jr. of Lebanon, Missouri; sixteen grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Joy coached several ball teams when his children were growing up. He enjoyed music loved playing the guitar. He played in several in country bands over the years. He also loved genealogy and researching his family roots, as well as helping others with locating their ancestors. After moving to Marshfield, Joy was on several bowling leagues. He was a St. Louis Cardinals fan and loved following the team and critiquing them along the way.

A devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, his family was the center of his world. He took great pleasure in creating lasting memories with them. He will be greatly missed and his memories will stay in the hearts of those he loved.

Services for Joy Lee Snow will be Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 2 p.m. at Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday, January 19, from 5 - 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be in McBride Cemetery.
