Joyce Barry, 87 of Royalston, MA, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2025 at Leominster Rehabilitation and Nursing Facility. Joyce was born in Worcester Massachusetts, grew up in Millbury and later moved to Royalston with her son.
Joyce worked at Ray Plastics in Winchendon for several years. Her greatest joy in life was the closeness that she shared with her family. She had a very close bond with her grandsons and great grandchildren.
Joyce spent winters in Florida with her son and daughter in law. In her free time she went on trips to Foxwoods with her son. She also enjoyed playing cards with her friends at the Royalston Fish and Game. She loved playing Bingo as well.
She is survived by her loving daughter-in-law, Karan Barry, her grandsons Jason and Matthiew Barry, granddaughter-in-law Catherine Barry, and her great-granddaughters Paige Barry and Madison Cassidy, along with many nephews and niece.
The family is grateful to all of the wonderful caregivers who supported Joyce in the final years of her life, especially Denise.
She was preceded in death by her beloved son Keven Barry, her parents Frank and Lucinda Mossa, and her five Sisters and 2 Brothers. Each of them held a special place in Joyce's heart, and their memories will continue to be treasured by those they left behind.
Joyce's life was a testament to her strength and her love for her family. Her memory will be cherished in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know her. Friends and family are encouraged to leave memories and upload photos to the memorial page, as we celebrate and honor the extraordinary life of Joyce Barry. Per Joyce’s request there will be no calling hours. A celebration of life will occur at a later date.
