Joyce R. Brigmon

Joyce Ann Robinson Brigmon, beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, peacefully passed away on December 9, 2023, in Wilmington, North Carolina. She was born on February 15, 1944, in Asheville, North Carolina. Joyce was blessed with a life that spanned 79 years.
Joyce was the cherished daughter of the late Bryan and Bonnie Robinson. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, William G. Brigmon Jr., as well as her brothers Ronald and Farrell Robinson. Joyce's passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Left to cherish her memory are her devoted son Terry Brigmon of Barnardsville (Suda Robbins) and daughter-in-law Debra Brigmon of Mars Hill. Joyce's grandchildren, Austin Brigmon of Wilmington (Kelsey), Ashton Rice of Mars Hill (Michael), and Allen Brigmon of Barnardsville (Cindy), brought immense joy to her life. Her great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Cheyenne, Bryan, Shelby, Elaina, and Elias, were the light of her world. Joyce is also survived by her sister-in-law Carol Robinson of Shallotte, North Carolina, and nieces and nephew Rhonda, Sonya, and Matthew. Additionally, she leaves behind her dear Great Aunt Mag Sheppard and many beloved cousins.
A memorial service to honor and remember Joyce's life will be held at the Wilmington Funeral & Cremation Chapel located at 1535 S. 41st St. Wilmington, NC 28403 on December 12, 2023 at 1:00 PM. Reverend Austin Brigmon will officiate the service, providing comfort and solace to those in attendance.
Joyce Ann Robinson Brigmon will forever be remembered for her love and devotion to her family. She will be dearly missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace.
