Joyce Ann Combs

Joyce Ann Combs, aged 82, of Hillsboro, passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at her residence, surrounded by her devoted family. Born December 26, 1942, in Dayton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Audrey Jackson Schall. Joyce retired following more than two decades of service as a teacher's assistant with Hills and Dales Training Center, and she was an active member of Marshall Church of Christ and Highland County Senior Citizens. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Keith W. Combs; three sons, Keith (Deb) Combs II of Brooklyn, Michigan, Kirk (Amy) Combs of Fayetteville, and Kyle Combs of Hillsboro; ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Beverly (James) Hall of Hillsboro and Karen Dunnigan of Michigan; and two brothers, Charles (Pat) Schall of Vandalia, Ohio, and Ron (Judy) Schall of Greenville, Ohio. Joyce was preceded in death by two siblings. Per Joyce's wishes, cremation will take place and no public service will be held. She will be privately remembered by her family and friends. In honor of her memory, contributions may be directed to the Marshall Church of Christ. The Turner & Son Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family.
