Joyce Ann Dembroski, 79, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on February 4, 2024.
She was born May 7, 1944 in Superior to Arthur and Lila (Niemi) Soyring. Joyce was a lifelong resident of Superior, WI. She graduated from East High School and later became an LPN. She worked at the Duluth Clinic before leaving work to raise her children. She would later return to the workforce at Lakeshore Lutheran Nursing Home until she retired.
She was proud of her Finnish heritage, was a fabulous cook, enjoyed trying new recipes, and was always making sure everyone around her was well fed. She loved dancing, polka music, and spending time with her family.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Judy Hilger, all of whom she adored and missed terribly.
She is survived by her husband of over 51 years, Ronald Dembroski, children: Lisa (Ryan) Moen, Sara (Shane) Downing, and Andy Dembroski; grandchildren: Olivia and Sophia Moen, Aiden and Ava Downing, and Tucker Dembroski; and brother Michael (Jeanne) Soyring.
Per Joyce's request, no funeral service will be held. If you would like to honor Joyce, please consider donating to the Parkinson's Association.

My aunt Joyce was a beautiful person. I will forever remember her twinkling eyes. They lit up her face and the room. I expect if we looked hard enough we would find a new twinkling star in the heavens. (Thanks for sharing your dad Art's cabin/sauna with us!) You will be missed Joycie. Eternal rest grant unto her O'Lord and let perpetual light shine upon her.
