Linda Marie Backlund Bushaw, 74, longtime Superior resident, passed away on September 27, 2025 at Twin Ports Health in Superior, WI surrounded by family. She was born on January 20, 1951, the daughter of Vernon C. and Lorraine M. (Glonek) Backlund, Jr. in Superior, WI.

Linda was a 1969 graduate from Superior Senior High School and took some additional courses at Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College. On July 9, 2011, she and Beryl Bushaw were married. They celebrated 14 wonderful years together.

Linda was a devoted member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. She served her community through membership with the Superior Moose Lodge 606, and as a latchkey worker for school area children. She showed her athleticism by running 10 Grandmas marathons, many half marathons and 10 KS. She was the 1970 Tri-State Speedway Queen. Linda loved her Wisconsin sports teams, enthusiastically cheering on the Green Bay Packers, the Brewers, and Wisconsin Badgers. We ask you to wear Packer Colors in honor of Linda.
