Joyce Louise Dunston, 79, of Liscomb, passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames.

Joyce Williams was born on December 31, 1945 in Oregon to Robert and Fay (Helgeson) Williams. She was married to Phillip R. Dunston in 1974. They would later divorce. Joyce had owned and operated her own bar. She was a member of ABATE, American Legion Auxiliary and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Joyce enjoyed spending time with her friends, reading, playing solitaire and just relaxing and having a cold Miller High Life.
Joyce is survived by her son: Mitchell (Tiffiny) Dunston of Liscomb; grandchildren: Courtney Dunston, Phillip Dunston, Morgan Graham, Preston Dunston, Trisha McCallion, Kirsten McCallion, Grace McCallion and Nevaeh McCallion along with great granddaughter: Sophia Dunston. She is also survived by her brother: Gary Williams.
Joyce is preceded in death by her parents: Robert and Fay and Ray Burris (step-father of Mitchell).
