Margaret Joyce Edmonds, 84 known lovingly as Joyce, was called home to be with the Lord on June 8, 2025. She was a devoted mother, sister and friend whose faith and acts of service touched countless lives.
Joyce is proceeded in death by her beloved parent’s Gentry and Frances West.
She leaves behind a loving family, son Gentry Shane Edmonds and daughter-in law Melissa Edmonds. Grandsons, Devin Divine, Zack Edmonds and Trevor Divine. Joyce was also blessed throughout her life by the close bond she shared with her dear brothers and sisters, Marie Simpson (Robert), Alvin West (Joyce), Janette West, Delmer West (Janette), Helen Lane (Donald). In addition to her immediate family, she leaves behind many cherished nieces and nephews.
Shane and Melissa would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Don and Helen for their compassionate care and unwavering support of Joyce in her final days. We are forever grateful for your kindness and dedication to her care.

Family and friends are invited to gather for the receiving of friends 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Thursday, June 12, 2025 at Victory Baptist Church, Talbott, TN with a 6:00 p.m. funeral service to follow with Rev. Ron Simmers officiating. A 11:00 a.m. graveside service will be held Friday, June 13, 2025 at Dandridge Memorial Gardens.
Joyce’s life was marked by quiet strength unwavering love, and a deep commitment to her faith. Her presence will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
