Joyce Ferguson Obituary
She was born November 1, 1943, in Bedford to the late Franklin and Elizabeth (Eichelberger) Foor.
Joyce was always busy and enjoyed interacting with people. She had a very outgoing personality that made you feel she was your friend as soon as you met her. Joyce formerly owned several candy shops, she later worked in sales at Value City Furniture, and was recently employed by Target. She looked forward to traveling west with her husband every year to Las Vegas and anywhere else they could enjoy nature and the desert. Joyce was always up for a shopping trip, a phone call, or a visit with her family who she loved so much.
She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Clark Ferguson Jr. of Spring Grove; two children, Kim (husband Anthony) Soistman of Hanover and Kevin Ferguson of Bedford; six grandchildren, Cody Dillon of Hanover, Ashley Ferguson of Bedford, Sydney Ferguson of Bedford, Missy (husband Shawn) Hare of Glenville, Megan (husband Eric) Walker of Hanover, and AJ (wife Jamie) Soistman of Spring Grove; nine great-grandchildren, Korryn, Aden, Jacob, Kohen, Kamden, Nehemiah, Ella, Everleigh, and Eli; and two brothers, Ronald Foor of Everett and Donald (wife Mary) Foor of Everett. In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by one great-grandson, Jaxson Dillon.
A visitation will be held from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 23, 2023, at the Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2020 West Trindle Road Carlisle, PA 17013.
