Of Ransomville, NY, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, in Buffalo General Medical Center. She was born in Buffalo, NY, on January 19, 1929, a daughter of the late Harry and Annette [Graf] Volker.
Mrs. Freck grew up in Martinsville and graduated from North Tonawanda High School and later Niagara County Community College.
She was employed with various businesses in the area before becoming a contract specialist with the US Air Force in Niagara Falls. Mrs. Freck was a tailor with Allen's Mens Store for many years.
She enjoyed sewing, baking and had one of her recipes selected for a Betty Crocker cook book.
Mrs. Freck was the wife of the late Delbert D. Freck, who passed away in 1974.
She is survived by two sons Thomas A. and James L. Freck, a grand daughter Dr. Elizabeth (Dr. Alfred Belen) Freck, MD, three grandchildren Christopher, Zachary and Adeline Belen, also several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Freck was the mother of the late Patricia Freck and sister of the late Dean Volker.
Her family will be present on Tuesday from 4-6:30 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, where funeral services will follow at 6:30 PM, with the Rev. Kurt D. Schultz officiating.
Memorials may be made in her name to the American Heart Association, 5488 Sheridan Drive, Buffalo NY 14221.
Interment in Wheatfield Cemetery.
