Of Wheatfield, NY. He was born in Kenmore, NY, son of the late Herbert J. and Anna (Trabert) Zimmerman. Mr. Zimmerman served in the US NAVY from 1946-1948. He was the loving husband of the late Barbara J. [Walbert] Zimmerman, who passed away in April of this year. Mr. Zimmerman is survived by his children Gary (Cheryl) Zimmerman, Lynn (Robert) Blickenstaff, grandchildren Dawn (James) Schwanz, Amy (Kevin) Crofts, Robert (Priscilla Bauer) Blickenstaff, seven great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Brother of the late Colette (Robert) Dufort, Kathleen Zimmerman and Betty Zimmerman. A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date. Memorials may be made in his name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Arrangements were made through the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, Sanborn, NY. Visit www.rhoneyfuneralhome.com, for guest register.
