Mrs. Joyce Lee (Parsil) Freier, age 68, of Temple, passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2025. Born on August 8, 1957, in Toledo, Ohio, Joyce was raised in Curtice, Ohio, and was the beloved daughter of the late Thomas Parsil and Bernice Hilditch Parsil. In addition to her parents, Joyce is preceded in death by her husband, Roland “Ron” Louis Freier, as well as her sisters, Barbara and Linda.
Joyce had a passion for helping those in need. After receiving her degree from Toledo School of Practical Nursing she served as a Licensed Practical Nurse, retiring after many years of service. Her compassionate nature extended beyond her professional life; she had a deep love for arts and crafts and was an avid reader, with Stephen King being her favorite author. A devoted Ohio State Buckeyes fan, Joyce also cherished the moments spent with her family, whose lives were enriched by her warmth and kindness
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Joel Weinrich, Jeff Weinrich, and Jennifer Weinrich. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, along with many other relatives who will remember her fondly.
In accordance with Mrs. Freier’s arrangements, she will be cremated.
