The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. and burial will follow at 3:00 P.M. at Grandview Cemetery.

Joyce Darlene Gibbs, 72 of Maryville, went to be with the Lord on March 28, 2026. Joyce enjoyed playing the piano, which she learned to play by ear, and played for the Lord. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a member of West Maryville Baptist Church, and most recently attended services at Foothills Transitional Care where she was a Resident Council Member. She was preceded in death by husband of 44 years: Donald Gibbs Jr., parents: Clarence and Allene Johnson, brother: Michael Johnson, and grandson: Tyler Sellers. She is survived by her daughters: Melissa Hope Valentine and Donna (Jeff) Hodges, grandchildren: Dakoda Sellers, Abby Sellers, and Alexis Hodges, great grandchildren: Nevaeh Sellers, Ashlynn Sellers, and Jensen Sellers, sister: Sharon Johnson Painter (Brian), and roommate: Sharon McKeehan. The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff at Foothills Transitional Care for their 31 years of care.
