Joyce Marie Flickinger Gulbranson, 58 of Coloma passed away February 16, 2024 in Benton Harbor, MI after a brief illness. She was born June 5, 1965 in Michigan City, IN,
Joyce was a long-time resident of Watervliet, MI and was a vibrant, down to earth person who loved Chicago Bears, Notre Dame, playing scratch offs, going to the casino, listening to 60's and 70's rock, and renting movies that she deemed worthy to watch a million times.
Joyce worked hard to give the best life to her surviving children, Justin Gulbranson and Mandy (Chris) Osborn which included working at Judd Lumber, Big C Lumber, Slumberland, and current employee at Five Below. She watched her children at the Watervliet Rec Sporting events and school functions. Her greatest wish in life was that her children would grow to lead happy and successful lives.
Joyce is survived by her mother, Cecile Lanier; sister, Rosalie Jordan; stepbrothers, Mike and Clay Lanier; sister-in-law, Bonnie Babor; grandchildren, Brett and Ryan Bolin, Mason, Nathan, Aaron, and Payton Osborn. Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews, and cousins. Her longtime friends: Marina Tomlinson, Phil Altenburg, Susan Joyner, Cherie Morgan, Uncle Brian Stevens, and Sky Ward; her Fiancé, Kevin Dean who deeply loved and adored her.
Joyce was preceded in death by her father, Wayne Flickinger; brother, William Babor; niece, Erin Meyers-Jones; uncle, John Calkins; stepfather, Carl Lanier; stepbrother, Russel Lanier.
