Joyce Jones Obituary
Joyce was born on June 2, 1947, in Cabin Creek, West Virginia, in the Coal Mines. Joyce was the daughter of the late John and Lucy Meade Easterling.
She attended church at Grahn Hill Freewill Baptist Church. She retired from Ashland Sales sewing factory. She enjoyed singing in church and attending church. She enjoyed taking the grandkids out to breakfast, going to yard sales, thrift stores and finding good deals, especially shopping with her sister, Judy.
Joyce is survived by one brother, Gary (Phyllis) Easterling; one sister, Judy Easterling (Barker Conn) all of Olive Hill, Kentucky. In addition, Joyce is survived by her children, Rick (Nellie) Jones, Teresa (Tim) Skaggs, Jeffery (Loretta) Jones, David (Anita) Jones all of Olive Hill, Kentucky. Joyce had 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Mitchell Skaggs, Gary Michael Skaggs, Matthew Skaggs, Nathaniel Jones, Samuel Jones, Travis Jones, Trevor Jones and Mason Skaggs.
Honorary pallbearers are Rick Jones, Jeffrey Jones and David Jones.
Visitation will be from 11-1, Monday, March 9, 2026, at Grahn Hill Freewill Baptist Church. Funeral will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 9, 2026, at Grahn Hill Freewill Baptist Church. Brother David Bryant and Brother Jimmy Barker will be officiating.
Burial will be in the Jones Family Cemetery on Sumac Road in Olive Hill, Kentucky.
