Joyce Ann Keister, born on February 16, 1943, in Bluefield, West Virginia, passed away peacefully in her home in Leetonia, Ohio, on December 7, 2025, at the age of 82. A dedicated homemaker, Joyce devoted her life to her family and steadfastly created a warm and loving environment for her children and those around her. Joyce was the cherished mother of James Farmer (Darlene Bickerton) and Deborah Simpson, who will forever carry her memory in their hearts. Grandmother to Matthew, Kolbey and Brock. Joyce also has three Great Grand Children. Her nurturing spirit, boundless love, and unwavering support shaped their lives and instilled values that will continue to resonate through future generations. Joyce enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren and family. In the quiet moments of life, Joyce found solace in simple pleasures. Her innate ability to make everyone feel welcome and loved will be sorely missed, but her legacy of kindness and compassion will live on. Besides her parents Joyce was preceded in death by her husband Ray Keister whom she married on March 12,1979. and three brothers and three sisters. Joyce's family invites all who knew her to honor her memory through the sharing of stories and cherished moments. While her physical presence may no longer be with us, her spirit will continue to inspire love and warmth in all of our lives. Per Joyce's request there will be no services.
