Joyce Johnson, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025, at the age of 74 in Poland, Ohio. Born on November 17, 1950, in Salem, Ohio, Joyce lived a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
For many years, Joyce dedicated her career to Miller-Holzwarth, where she was known for her strong work ethic and sense of camaraderie among her colleagues. Her contributions in the workplace were greatly valued, but it was in her personal life where her true passions shone through.
Joyce enjoyed a rich variety of hobbies and interests that brought joy to those around her. She had a special fondness for Bingo, bowling, and shopping, and would often spend leisurely afternoons working on puzzles or creating beautiful ceramics. Joyce also had a unique appreciation for nature, finding delight in watching hummingbirds flit about her garden.
Joyce is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Sherman Johnson, and her two daughters, Bernice Stapleton and Julie Radcliff. Her legacy continues through her six grandchildren: Courtney, Justin, Amber, Jaycob, Elisabeth, and Jeremy, as well as her seven great-grandchildren: Sophie, Wyatt, Alana, Evie, Kristopher, Mason, and Colt, with one more on the way, Rosalynn. Joyce was also a cherished sister, leaving behind four sisters: Linda Baker, Cindy Gentry, Vickie Lilly, and Valerie Trimm, along with her brother, Stephen Rendziniak. She was preceded in death by her parents William Kring and Betty (Reese) Johnson, her twin sister, Janet Jury, as well as her brother, Louis Kring, and sister, Shirley Woodworth.
