Eugene Johnson

Eugene Johnson 72 years of age of Mavisdale, VA passed away Saturday, November 22, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his family. Born April 10, 1953, in Floyd County, Ky, he was the son of Rosie Bush Mullins.
Eugene was of the Baptist faith, and retired from N&W Railroad where he worked as a machine operator. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother.
He was preceded in death by his mother Rosie Bush Mullins and his stepfather who raised him, Dave Mullins. Also preceded by his sister, Lillie Mullins; brothers, Joe Johnson, Ransom Mulllins, John Mullins, Steve Mullins and James Mullins.
He is survived by his wife of fifty-three years and eleven months, Nancy Jane Hall Johnson of Mavisdale, VA; daughters, Rosemary Deel and fiancé, David Ratliff of Oakwood, VA, Judy (Michael) Endicott of Hurley, VA, Heather Mullins of Bluff City, TN and his sister, Myrtle Newsome of KY.
He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Sean Helbert, Desirae Lea Deel, Ariel Endicott, Arianna Endicott, Brenton Perry, Dylon Perry, Carson Perry; two great grandchildren, Luna Mitchem, Castian Mitchem and several nieces and nephews.
In honoring Eugene wishes he will be cremated and there will be no services.
