Deanie Clifton

Deanie Clifton, age 77 passed away Thursday October 9, 2025, surrounded by her family at Clinch Valley Medical Center. She was born in Grundy, VA on August 21, 1948.
She was proceeded in death by her parents William Turner and Stella Sparks, two brothers Clifford Sonny Sparks, Ransom "Chubby" Sparks, one sister Marie Keen, one granddaughter Maressa Klein and her in laws Dewey and Lydia Clifton
She was a member of Baptist Bible Church and was a devoted Christian. She dedicated her life to her family, always providing unwavering support and love. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren and a sentiment they felt deeply in the warmth she shared.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years Arthur Clifton of Oakwood Va, children Donald and Pamela Clifton of Woodbridge VA, LaDonna and Jeremy Brewster of Jackson, GA, grandchildren Nathan and Braxton. She is survived by one sister Phyllis Keene of Patterson, Va, one brother Larry Sparks of Oakwood Va., sister-in-law Betty Sparks of Baptist Valley, Va., Brother in laws Ronald (Betty) Clifton of Oakwood, Joe Clifton of Oakwood, and one sister-in-law Garnie Keen of Oakwood Va.
She was also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
The Clifton family would like to thank the staff of Clinch Valley Medical Center and Legacy Hospice for their care during this time of illness. And a special thanks to Debbie and Ronnie Kinder and Mike and Missy Dixon for all their help over the last few years.
In honoring Mrs. Clifton there will be no services.
