Virginia "Ginny" Tidd, mother, grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away on September 6, 2025, in Salem, Ohio, at the age of 70. Born on December 8, 1954, in Lakewood, California, Ginny lived a life dedicated to her family and community.

Her contributions to her community included her work as a crossing guard for Salem City Schools, where she formed meaningful connections with the children she assisted. Her warmth and friendliness extended beyond her duties; she was also employed at Dollar Tree in Salem, where her interaction with customers brought her joy. Virginia's love for shopping, whether in person or online, was a testament to her vibrant personality and zest for life.

Virginia is survived by her mother, Gloria (Hinds) Judy; her husband, LJ Tidd; her daughter, Gloria Perkins; and her five grandchildren, Jessica, Chase, Kenzie, Aubrey, and Logan. She was also the proud great-grandmother of Avery, Nova, Bennett, and Theodore. Ginny's two sisters, Christine Bernal and Lila Lee Isom, also remain to cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Judy, and her brother, Larry Judy. Ginny's family and friends will remember her spirit, and the countless lives she touched through her work and personal relationships.

A memorial service will be held in her honor at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, located at 1089 East State Street, Salem, Ohio, on September 13, 2025. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by the memorial service at 11:00 AM. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home, Salem Chapel, www.BrownFHonline.com, (330) 337-6363.
