Joyce Eileen Klomp

Klomp, Joyce E., age 87, of Oakdale. Passed away January 7, 2026.

Joyce was a friend to all. She valued family, faith, friends and community. Joyce had a huge heart and was a caretaker to many as she served as a licensed practical nurse. Joyce had a gift for making people feel loved, whether through a small gift, a card in the mail, driving you to an appointment or capturing a moment through a photo. Joyces personal style could be described as a "Proud Norwegian"; she loved to talk about her trip to Norway with her sister Jeanne. Joyce graduated from North High School in North St. Paul MN. Joyce liked to downhill ski, ice skate, snowmobile, RV Trips, cruises, and anything to do with the outdoors. Joyce was an active member of House of Prayer Church where she volunteered.

Preceded in death by parents George and Elsie Johansen; siblings George (Kathie) Johansen and Jeanne (David) Peterson

Survived by husband of 55 years Wayne; son Kyle (Micki) Klomp; step-grandchildren Joshua (Shannon), Alexis, Anthony and Lee Henriksen; step-great-grandchild Freya; sister-in-law Kathie Johansen; brother-in-law David Peterson; many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service Monday January 19 at 11:00am with visitation 10:00am at House of Prayer Lutheran Church, 6039 40th St No., Oakdale, MN 55128 Memorials preferred. Interment Union Cemetery.
