Joyce Ann Klosterman-Brennan, 88, of Manchester, Iowa, formerly of Edgewood, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at the Good Neighbor Home in Manchester. She was born on July 24, 1937, in Lamont, the daughter of Edmund and Irma (Goedken) Deutmeyer. Joyce was raised in the Petersburg area and attended Saints Peter and Paul School in Petersburg.

On August 1, 1956, Joyce was united in marriage to Richard Klosterman at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Petersburg. Seven children were born to this union. Richard and Joyce farmed together on their farm southeast of Edgewood. Richard passed away in 1995. In January of 2009, Joyce was married to William "Bill" Brennan. Bill passed away in 2022.

Joyce was a longtime member of St. Mark Catholic Church and enjoyed singing in the Saint Pius X Resurrection Choir. She enjoyed baking, shopping, and going on walks with her friends. In her younger years, Joyce enjoyed playing softball. Joyce loved her family and cherished spending time with them, especially during the holidays.

Survivors include her six children, Kevin (Elaine) Klosterman, June (Denny) Stepanek, Sandy (Jim) Barrett, Kim Klosterman, Ken (Diane) Klosterman, and Judy (Tim) Wessels; daughter-in-law, Kimberly Klosterman; six step children, Matthew Brennan, Kevin (Tara) Brennan, Anne (Steve) Boerhave, Trina (Wally) Dunham, Alicia (Scott) Burgess, and Daniel Brennan; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; five siblings, Marilyn Prier, Frank (Joy) Deutmeyer, Carol Vorwald, Fred (Bonnie) Deutmeyer, and Ken (Marjie) Deutmeyer; step sister, Mary Jane Westhoff; and many nieces and nephews.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Richard Klosterman and William Brennan; son, Kurt Klosterman; grandson, Josh Brown; step mother, Delores Deutmeyer; one sister, Iva Mae (Marvin) Ungs; two brothers, Leon Deutmeyer and Phil Deutmeyer; parents-in-law, Martha and Leonard Klosterman; and brothers- and sisters-in-law, Gerald Prier, Fred Vorwald, Paul and Virginia Fannon, Don and Alice Ryan, and Claire Klosterman.
