Margie Mae Harbaugh, 75, of Edgewood, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at the Edgewood Convalescent Home in Edgewood. She was born on December 20, 1949, in her parent's home in rural Clayton County. Margie was the daughter of Paul Christ and Geraldine Amanda (Waterman) Peuker. She was raised in the area and graduated from Ed-Co High School in 1969.

On June 7, 1975, Margie was united in marriage to Jerry Harbaugh at the Hope Lutheran Church in Littleport. One daughter was born to this union. Margie did lots of cake decorating and ran a bakery in Edgewood. She took care of her parents and brothers as well as her own family for many years.

Margie was a member of the Hope Lutheran Church. She enjoyed growing flowers and gardening and taking care of her dog Rocky, and most of all spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Jerry Harbaugh of Edgewood; her daughter Amanda "Mandi" Harbaugh of Strawberry Point; her two grandchildren, Kassidy Krapfl of Cedar Falls and Violet Harbaugh of Strawberry Point; and her many friends.

Margie was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Vernon Peuker and Keith Peuker; and her sister, Linda (Jim) Handke.
