Joyce A. Longi, a longtime resident of Yonkers and Hawthorne, NY, passed away peacefully with her husband by her side on April 25, 2025 at the age of 72. While she spent most of her life in New York, Joyce was born in Erie, PA on June 22, 1952 to the late James & Jeanne (Ball) Moss.
Along with her beloved husband of almost 25-years, Ronald P. Longi, Joyce is survived by her loving step-daughter, Gabrielle Roman (Greg) and 2 grandchildren, Sofia and Danny. She is also survived by her twin-brother James Moss; her brother-in-law Fiorino Greco; and her nephew Peter (Allannah) Greco, and their 2 children Gianna and Bella. In addition to her parents, Joyce was predeceased by her sister and best friend, Patricia Greco.
Joyce’s work ethic was surpassed only by her generosity and thoughtfulness. She never missed an opportunity to lend a hand, give a gift, or make a phone call to show her care. Joyce brought great joy through her kindness as well as her sense of humor, which will be very missed by her family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 5th from 6-8 pm at Durand-Ballard funeral home (21 W Stevens Ave, Hawthorne, NY) for family and friends to gather in memory of Joyce. Interment has been held privately.
