Joyce Marie Luksovsky, born on May 30, 1949, in Moulton, Texas, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2026, in College Station, Texas. Joyce was a beloved member of her community and a devoted family matriarch. She graduated from Moulton High School, Class of 1969, and went on to build a career that showcased her natural talents as a saleswoman, first at the D and L Variety Store and then assisting her brother at George’s Art and Sign Shop.

Known for her warm spirit, she left behind countless cherished memories filled with beauty, laughter, and the warmth of shared stories and knowledge. A passionate gardener, guardian of cats, and talented baker, Joyce found joy in nurturing life around her. Additionally, she loved to gather with family and friends to play cards and dominoes, always bringing people together with her joyful heart.

She is also survived by her precious grandchildren, Phoenix, William, and Charlotte-Joyce Luksovsky, as well as her nieces, Melissa Holub, Gayle Kubenka, and Patricia Klesel, along with numerous grand and great-grand nieces and nephews and dear friend Hope Vornsand.

Her passing leaves a deep void in the lives of all who knew her. Joyce is preceded in death by her father, William “Bill” Joseph Kalisek; her mother, Marcella Elizabeth Svetlik Kalisek; and her brother, Roy William Kalisek.

The legacy of Joyce Marie Luksovsky will endure in the hearts of her family and friends, who will remember her as a hardworking, proud, and devoted woman whose impact will be felt for generations to come. She will forever be loved and missed.
