Joyce was born in Monongahela, Pennsylvania, on December 3, 1946, the daughter of the late Francis Mayhew and Lois (Reynolds) Novello.
She was a graduate of Monongahela High School and retired from the State of Maryland. Joyce was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan who found joy in life's simple pleasures-knitting, admiring butterflies and ladybugs, and savoring a hearty plate of spaghetti.
She is survived by her daughter, Leanne Miller, and her husband, Christopher; four grandchildren, Alyssa McMahon and her husband, Gregory, Brianna Keebler and her husband, Caleb, Kiera Magiske, and Tristan Magiske; two great-grandchildren, Annabelle McMahon and John Keebler, with two more on the way; her daughter-in-law, Kerry Magiske; and two sisters, Nancy Sams and her husband, James, and Janet Mayhew.
She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Magiske, and her sister, Carole Miller.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at New Covenant Community Church, 284 Slab Road, Delta.
