Joyce Marie Colbert Mansfield Clarke

Joyce Marie Colbert Mansfield Clarke was born in Norfolk, VA, on April 14, 1937. She passed away peacefully December 6, 2025. Joyce's life was rooted in the Commonwealth of Virginia, where she was born and raised. Over the course of her long and meaningful life, she experienced both profound joys and deep sorrows, all with grace and resilience.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bill Mansfield; her second husband, John Clarke; her beloved son, Scott Mansfield; her brother, Alvin Colbert; her parents, Annabelle Foreman and William Colbert; and her cherished aunt and uncle, Edith and Page Driskill. Joyce leaves behind a loving family who will carry forward her memory with affection. She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl LaHay (Jef) and Billie Miley (Steve); her sister, Rita Walker (Bill); sister, Theresa Denis; her granddaughters, Blair Daniels, Jessica Miley (Alejandro Brubaker), and grandson, Doug Miley (Beth), as well as great-grandchildren, Gibson, Jackson, Riley, Adriana, Ella, Mateo, and Tenley.
Her legacy lives on through the generations she nurtured-each one touched by her presence in unique ways. She never met an animal that she didn't spoil with too many treats. She loved her red hat luncheons and always had the energy to go shopping. She never left home without sparkles showing off her personality. Her favorite times were spent with the family at Lake Gaston. May her memory bring comfort to those that loved her. The family would like to thank the staff at Marian Manor for their support and care.
